Korp is a relatively new Swedish band that plays well sounding, but somewhat obsolete black metal. This mid -nineties style is pleasing to the ears and is well written, but it does little in the way of adding something new or special to what is already there. The influences of Gorgoroth (‘ Antichrist’ are) are obvious, but you can also detect some Satyricon, Isvind and newer Immortal in Korps` sound.
